The group accepts enquiries from prospective PhD and MD(Res) students with interests in replication stress, DNA repair, translational studies and photodynamic therapy. Prospective applicants should contact Professor Bryant outlining their background and proposed project interests.

Project and short‑term studentship opportunities (e.g. MSc projects, summer placements) are sometimes available and are advertised via departmental project lists and postgraduate course pages; direct enquires are welcome.

Collaborative proposals that combine chemical biology, clinical translational pathways or preclinical combination therapy studies are welcomed. The group works with chemists, clinicians and industry partners on photodynamic agents and DNA repair‑targeted therapeutics.
